General Business:

Christmas Raffle

Tickets must be returned to the club for by 12noon Saturday 13th December

Sat 13th Club will be selling tickets in the Coles car park in the main street of Ocean Grove from 10am – any assistance on the day would be greatly appreciated

 

Christmas Breakup - Scheduled for Saturday December 6th at Collendina Reserve

– Club is to send letter to all sponsors inviting them to the event

– Club to organize meats (John T & Brad C) - BYO Salads

 

Collendina Reserve Club rooms – The cricket club contacted us and notified us that during the week of the previous meeting the bars till was significantly short and that each club using the rooms must appoint a barman to handle all transactions whilst the room is in use instead of the bar being self service.

 

Jan Farrel – John T called and left a message for her to call him to discuss the state of the Ocean Grove boat ramp 

 

Marine Safety – John T contacted and was advised all funds for the coming year were being allocated as a priority to facilities located in the suburbs of Melbourne

VPC Raffle – This raffle has been cancelled due to an illness of one of there members – the club will investigate the possibility of having our own raffle available, Wayne H is to report at the Jan 09 meeting as to what equipment the club has available to raffle

The Club may investigate contacting sponsors to donate non fishing items as prizes   

 

Festival of the Sea – will be held Sun 22nd of March, the club will be attending and manning a stall

 

Celebrate ’58 – Thanks to all that attended and assisted the club to sell raffle tickets

 

Club Flyer – Richard has produced a club flyer that includes a membership application form which is now available on the club website.

 

Club Merchandise for sale – Stubby Holders $10, Boat Stickers $5, Hats $5

 

Geelong District and Association Angling Club – will be holding a fund raising BBQ at Bunnings Waurn Ponds 3rd Jan – Jock A and Tim H to attend

 

PFD Australia – Richard to invite Glenn Sheldon to the club in the new year to discuss his range of PFD’s
