General Business

Trailer – A two month roster is to be created and placed on each club newsletter to better notify members of their trailer towing responsibilities.

-          New support chain has been attached and touch up paint purchased by Wayne

 

Meat Packs – Firthy’s Butchers have discontinued their supply of meat packs for the club to

raffle at meetings. As Firthy’s are no longer a club sponsor we recommend club members take their business elsewhere.

 

Peterborough – This year’s Peterborough Bream Competition will be held from Thursday the 30th October to Thursday 6th of November – Contact John T for accommodation information

 

Christmas Breakup – Scheduled for Saturday December 6th at Collendina Reserve

– Club to organize meats - BYO Salads

– Club is to contact the local cricket club to investigate availability of the ground

– Wayne to investigate medallions – Brad to have plaques engraved

 

OG Boat Ramp – Richard to make follow up phone call to Geelong council re letter sent July 08 regarding the hazardous state of the Ocean Grove boat ramp

 

Torquay Boat Ramp – Currently the local council and fishing club is discussing design plans for the boat ramp with construction planned to begin March 2009

 

Celebrate ’58 – Saturday 25th October from 10:30am - Celebrates local community groups and their involvement in Ocean Grove. OGAC will hold a stall to promote the club

 

Ron Nelson Junior Clinic - Sunday 26th October 2008  Seagull Paddock  9am to 2pm – free showbags to all competing kids

 

Esky – The club to obtain a 70lt esky for use on club outings - Jason to follow up
